Handsome and beautifully composed map of the vicinity of Verona, from Mantua to Trento, with Lake Garda shown prominently. The map is based on the cartography of Bernardino Brugnoli. A large, exotic title cartouche fills the upper left corner. Latin text on verso, published in 1579.

Condition: A

A sharp impression with full contemporary color on a sheet with an eagle watermark, minor color offsetting, and marginal soiling. The green pigment has browned, but the paper is still supple.
