Nice map covering the region of present-day northern Algeria. The topography is shown to be quite mountainous with numerous oases located and shown in the European manner of forests. The title is engraved on a drape-style cartouche. Engraved by Jean Sommer. Originally dated 1655 and published in Cartes Generales de Toutes les Parties du Monde…; on this example, the date has changed to 1684 and Mariette's imprint has been erased in title cartouche.
