This richly illustrated history covers the discovery and exploration of North America from the voyages of the Vikings to the expeditions to the West. Folio, 254 pp. with more than 350 illustrations, both maps and engravings, some in color. Hardbound in simulated brown leather with gilt title on front cover and spine.

Contents are very good, with lightly toned endpapers. Binding is slightly loose. Covers have light shelf wear and a small scuff. Spine backstrip is coming loose.
