This colorful map by Ira Moss is filled throughout with the types of fish that can be found in the rivers and lakes within the United States and the surrounding coastal waters. The map shows state boundaries, rivers, lakes and key cities. Each fish is numbered and identified in a key within Mexico; many of the fish are illustrated multiple times in the map. Tables surrounding the map list what types of fish can be found in each state as well as specific locations in each state, using the numbered key. Tiny inset maps at bottom show where specific fish can be most commonly found along the coasts. The map border is composed of fishing lures.
