Large, attractive map of Europe, including Iceland and the Mediterranean. The German Empire dominates all of central Europe, Poland takes in all of northeastern Europe, and the Turkish Empire occupies all of southeastern Europe. Engraved by Herman van Loon. Decorated with a nice title cartouche.

Condition: A

A sharp impression with contemporary outline color in the map and later color in the cartouches, on a bright sheet with a Society of Jesus watermark. There is an archivally repaired centerfold separation at bottom, some minor extraneous creasing, and light toning along the edges of the sheet.
