This fine map covers Udrone or present-day County Carlow in Leinster province. The map is richly engraved to show the mountains, rivers, forests, villages, and the two major cities of Catherlagh (Carlow) and Laghlyn (Leighlinbridge). The strapwork title cartouche incorporates a distance scale. French text on verso.

A crisp impression with contemporary color on a lightly toned sheet with a coat of arms watermark. There are a couple minor spots in map image and a centerfold separation confined to the bottom blank margin.
