An attractive map based on the work of the eminent French cartographer, Guillaume Delisle. The map focuses on France, but extends to include the neighboring countries. The map is fully engraved with great detail and decorated with a large title cartouche featuring soldiers and a portrait of Louis XV.

A sharp impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with a large coat of arms watermark, a few minor spots, and light toning along the centerfold.
