This map was included in the 8-page "Coronation Color Section" by Alonzo C. Webb and published in the April 22, 1937 issue of The Christian Science Monitor in advance of the coronation of George VI and Elizabeth on May 12, 1937. The lavish production shows the extent of the British Empire in red overprinting, highlighting its territories across the globe. Ornate illustrations with gold accents surround the map including the coat of arms of Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa with the United Kingdom's seal balancing the composition at top. The verso contains portraits of Princess Elizabeth, Princess Margaret, and the future King George VI.
