This map shows the region under the influence of the Patriarch of Constantinople and extends to include the Black Sea and part of Greece. It is filled with ancient place names and regions and is adorned with a strapwork cartouche featuring disembodied putti.

A strong impression on watermarked paper with margins reinforced with old paper on all sides. There is a printer's crease at lower left, a bit of color offsetting, and minor foxing in the image. There are dampstains confined to the top and bottom blank margin and more prominent foxing along the sheet edges.
