B. Globes from the Western World, by Elly Dekker and Peter van der Krogt, published 1993, printed color (9.9 x 11.4"). This terrific reference is a must for collectors interested in globes. It includes information on the production of manuscript and printed globes and features chapters on globes made in the Dutch Republic, Italy, France, Germany, Great Britain, the United States, and Central Europe. Notable globemakers such as Coronelli, the Valks, Doppelmayr, and Delamarche are discussed. The book is filled with illustrations in black & white and color. Published by Zwemmer. 183 pages.
