This view was published by the Greater Chicago Investment Company and is a photographic rendering of a view “Painted by the Midway Studio." The view features excellent detail and names roads, neighborhoods, streets, steel mills, industrial plants and other sites, including the Ford Airport, part of Henry Ford’s attempt to create an airline. There is no title or associated text. The Midway Studio was the workshop of notable Chicago sculptor Lorado Taft. There is no reference to this view on OCLC, and only one reference to the real estate company. Folds into dark brown boards (4.3 x 9.0").
