This is the eastern half of a two-sheet map of the Gulf of Finland. This section extends from Helsinki to St. Petersburg, and gives good detail of the towns, political boundaries, rivers, lakes, and forests in the region. The title cartouche on the missing western sheet is "Sinus Finnici Delineatio Geographica."

A crisp impression with contemporary outline color on a lightly toned sheet with light soiling and a couple of dampstains along the edges of the sheet, entering the map border at right. The sheet has been folded in half in both directions, but the creases are not distracting.
