This lot includes 32 disbound town plans and fortifications from Bodenehr's Force d'Europe. Many of the plans are flanked by German text describing the city and military campaigns that were waged in the city in the seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries. This lot features 19 plans of Belgian cities, 11 of French cities, and 2 of German cities. Included are plans of Arras, Dunkirk, Huy, Liege, Namur, Ostend, Tournai, and Ypres. The plans range in size from 4.7 x 6" to 11.5 x 6".
