This map depicts the region just south of Paris, surrounding the cities of Orleans, Sens, Auxerre, and Nevers. The map is highly detailed and filled with hundreds of tiny towns, and is embellished with a drape-style distance scale cartouche and an allegorical title cartouche featuring Mercury, Minerva, and a bounty of fruits. Printed on two joined sheets.

A sharp impression with contemporary outline color in the map and later color in the cartouches. A couple of tiny cracks in the image and a short centerfold separation at bottom have been archivally repaired on verso.
