This uncommon map details the regions of Granada, Cordoba and Jaen based on the cartography of Don Tomas Lopez de Vargas Machuca (1730-1802). A legend in the Mediterranean identifies cities of various sizes, forts, and market towns. The extensive road system is well depicted. Adorned with a lovely cartouche featuring a ruined column and a grape vine growing on a tree.

A nice impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with the watermark of Elias Kutter and some small stains at bottom.
