Great map of northeastern Germany and a bit of Poland centered on Berlin, and extending to include the cities of Frankfurt on the Oder River, Wittenberg, Dannenberg, and Szczecin (Stetin). The map is beautifully engraved to show the forests and is embellished with two strapwork cartouches and an elaborate border. Latin text on verso, published in 1609 or 1612.

Condition: B

Full contemporary color on a lightly toned sheet with a small coat of arms watermark. There is a small hole in the image that has been archivally repaired, some light color offsetting and bleed-through of the historiated initial on verso, and a thin line of mat burn outside of the image. There are remnants of framing tape along the edges of the sheet on recto.
