A striking regional map of central Germany, centered roughly on Marburg and including a portion of the Rhine River at bottom left. The map includes the cities of Koblenz, Frankfurt, Kassel, Eisenach, and Schweinfurt. The decorative title cartouche is composed of the coats of arms of the principal towns on the map. In the secondary cartouche putti and grapes adorn the legend and two mileage scales.
