This densely engraved map details the southern portion of Bavaria, just shy of Nuremberg, and extends into portions of Austria. At top right is an inset that extends the map further north, surrounded by the angel of Fame and putti holding up coats of arms of the region. This is the second state, with "Circuli Franconici Pars" added to the right of the title cartouche.
