Handsome map of Salzburg and Carinthia illustrating the mountainous topography, forests, cities and villages. Decorated with a strapwork title cartouche surmounted by two coats of arms. This is the rare third state with an updated title cartouche. Blank verso.

A nice impression on a bright sheet with minor soiling, light mildew stains in the blank margins, and professional repairs to chips in the bottom corners of the sheet and to a centerfold separation that just enters the map border at bottom. Only the title cartouche and a small group of trees at bottom left are hand colored.
