A fully engraved map centered on Milano that covers the region from Genoa to the Italian lakes region and is filled with scores of place names, many walled cities, villages, etc. This map illustrates the region where battles were fought during the first decade of the 18th century. The fortified towns of Verona, Mantua, Parma, Cremona, Morbergno, Placenza, Bobbio, Modena, Genova, Alba, and many more are located. Dated 1702, but published circa 1716.

A nice impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet. There is light toning along the centerfold, a crease at top right, a small worm track in the bottom margin, and marginal soiling. There are archival repairs to a centerfold separation at bottom and a chip in the left blank margin.
