This lovely view is taken from Mount Royal and looks out to the flourishing city of Montreal, the St. Lawrence River, and Saint Helen's Island. The bucolic nature of the island is well represented with farmers and hunters presented in the foreground. Drawn by Bouchette, transferred to stone by L. Haghe, and lithographed by Day & Haghe in London.

A dark impression, issued folding with light scattered foxing that is mostly visible in the blank margins and a few faint dampstains in the bottom margin.
