This dramatic bird's-eye view with a three-dimensional perspective was taken from the southeast and looks north from Long Island Sound to Cape Cod, Boston Bay, Casco Bay, and the Canadian border. Oval lines extend to the north and west in 25-mile intervals from Boston, extending to Albany, Lake Champlain and Edmundston, New Brunswick. The highway network is displayed with white lines throughout as are steamship routes in the vicinity. Decorated by a title cartouche featuring the region's state seals. Folds into light red paper covers (4.5 x 7.7"). We found no past sales records or institutional examples on OCLC.
