This uncommon Revolutionary War-era map presents the southern colonies extending from Maryland and Virginia south to the Carolinas, Georgia and Florida. Several Native American tribes are noted occupying the lands west of the Appalachian Mountains including the Chicasaws, Chactaws, Creeks and Cherakees. Beyond the Mississippi River is a large Louisiana. Published in William Russell's The History of America.
