This attractive pictorial bird's-eye view was drawn by D. Pool and published by Vacation Products Co. in Sarasota. It covers the region from Tampa/St. Petersburg south to Sarasota and east to Lakeland, Orlando, and Titusville. Larger cities are shown in plan format and connected via the highway network. Illustrations of various plants and animals fill the map while a shuttle launch at Kennedy Space Center is depicted in the background. Several species of fish are located in the Gulf of Mexico along with a mermaid guarding a treasure chest. Surrounded by a frame border. The verso contains related text and illustrations indicating the intention for this map to be a brochure, but this example has never been folded and has a glossy finish. We found only one past sales record for this map and no institutional examples on OCLC.
