This detailed and well engraved copper plate map illustrates the West Indies, Florida, east Texas, the Yucatan, and northern South America. Florida is divided between East & West, and south Florida is depicted as an archipelago. Texas is the New Kingdom of Leon. The map was issued in the November 1778 issue of Town & Country Magazine and was engraved to accompany the article "A General Description of the West Indies." An uncommon issue.
