This fine bird's-eye view portrays the Dutch fleet and the fortresses at Cabo Santo Agostinho. Published by Gregorio Leti, this scene is copied from an earlier publication, circa 1640. It is interesting to note that the image has been reversed during the engraving process, so the map is a mirror image of reality.
