A handsome map of the modern Netherlands, fully engraved with towns, political boundaries, mountains, marshes, and the extensive river system in the region. The elaborate title cartouche is surrounded by mythical figures, including Mercury, Neptune, a female figure representing Geography, the angel of Fame, and putti.

A crisp impression with full contemporary color, a few pencil notations in the image, toning along the centerfold, a long centerfold separation at bottom that has been repaired, and light foxing at left.
