This decorative map of France extends to include Belgium and Luxembourg with portions of Switzerland, Germany, and England. It is filled with finely engraved detail of the political divisions, towns, and topography. The title cartouche is flanked by Bacchus and a Roman soldier with cherubs in the foreground. This is the fourth state of the map with a frame around the legend at top.

Condition: B

Full contemporary color with some small cracks due to oxidation of the green pigment that have been closed on verso with archival tape, as well as a small chip in the coat of arms above the title cartouche. A 6" centerfold separation at bottom has been repaired with hinge tape on verso.
