This striking celestial chart by Lucien Boucher was created as a promotional poster for Air France. The stars and constellations of the southern and northern skies are depicted in two hemispheres, with windheads blowing from the four courners. The signs of the zodiac are highlighted in gold, although Taurus is hidden behind an image of the earth, which is centered on Africa and show numerous Air France routes. This is the smaller of two editions of this chart. Published by Perceval in Paris.
