According to a note on this wall-sized plan of Paris, the lettered and numbered grid makes it easy to find one's location using the extensive tables on the sides of the sheet. Streets, neighborhoods, districts, hospitals, mailboxes, theaters, libraries, prisons, bridges and more are listed in the tables with their corresponding location.

A nice impression on a moderately toned but sturdy sheet with light foxing, some extraneous creasing, and an archivally repaired tear that enters 7" into the image at left.
