This fine map of the Black Sea shows the surrounding regions including portions of present-day Turkey, Romania, Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine and the Sea of Azov. The map is very detailed with locations of fortifications and extensive notations throughout.

A crisp impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with a pair of elephant watermarks. There a re a few minor printer's creases and the blank lower margin has a tissue reinforcement along the centerfold on both recto and verso.
