This handsome small map of the Americas is sparsely detailed, but interesting nonetheless. The western coast of North America is truncated with a partial coastline and a notation indicating a possible Northwest Passage per the supposed discoveries of Admiral de Fonte. The British Colonies are confined east of the Mississippi River. This is the third state with an additional note added in the Pacific Northwest, explaining that the new discoveries by Captain Cook can be found on the world map. The map was engraved by E. Dussy, and the ornate title cartouche was designed and engraved by Arrivet.

References: cf. Pedley #21.
