This stunning and uncommon view depicts the Port of Quebec from across the St. Lawrence River. Ships fill the water, and there is nice architectural detail along the hazy, hilly shore. The engraving was the frontispiece to Fred. Fitzgerald de Roos' Personal Narrative of Travels in The United States and Canada in 1826... (1827). Engraved by F.F. de Roos. Printed by C. Hullmandel.
