This map encourages touring the United States by experiencing radio stations around the country. Radio stations are identified on the map, which is surrounded by two extensive indexes listing the stations by call letter and by kilocycle, and indicating their location and power in watts. A previous owner has drawn in pencil concentric circles of 300, 600, 1000 and 1200 miles from New York City to create a performance yardstick as explained in the cartouche in the Gulf of Mexico. On verso is a map of radio stations and frequencies around the world. Self-folding (4.5 x 9.2") with additional text and images on verso. Published by Hagstrom Company, Inc for RCA Radiotron Co.
