This eye-catching pictorial map of London was intended for use by children. It covers the area from Hyde Park to London Tower and St. Pancras Station to Victoria Station. The densely filled map displays parks, buildings, named streets, and several quotations from the likes of Noyes, Kipling, and Cowher. True to its intended audience, the map is surrounded by numerous small vignettes depicting nursery rhymes including Humpty Dumpty, Jack & Jill, and Little Miss Muffett, as well as six related coats of arms. Signed by L.G. Bullock at lower right. Backed with contemporary linen and self-folds into pictorial cardstock wrappers (3.7 x 7.5").

Clean and bright, issued folding, with a 3" fold separation at right that has been closed on verso with archival tape, and a tiny fold separation at bottom that has been closed on recto and verso with cello tape. The covers are lightly soiled and have a partial address label from a previous owner.
