This disbound chapter on Germany includes one map and 16 engraved city plans. The map, entitled Germany, (7.6 x 7.6"), depicts central Europe from the North Sea to the Gulf of Venice, extending west into France and east into Hungary. The city plans include Cologne, Bonn, Rheinberg, Trier, Koblenz, Mont Royal, Mainz, Mannheim, Frankenthal, Philippsburg, Strasbourg, Fort-Louis on the Rhine, Landau, Huningue, Breisach, and Freiburg. Interestingly, of the 58 maps and plans that were originally included in Theasaurus Geographicus, the map of Germany is the only one that was signed by Moll, although presumably he engraved all of the maps. Many of the maps in Theasaurus Geographicus were subsequently used in other publications, including A System of Geography and Compleat Geographer.
