This handsome and detailed map of the Persian Empire covers present-day Iran, Iraq, Armenia, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, and part of the coast of Arabia, labeled Bahrem onder Persie. There are plenty of place names and some nice topographical detail. Three distance scales appear in a cartouche at top right, and there is a simple title cartouche at bottom left.
