Interesting map centered on the Atlantic Ocean but showing most of Europe and Africa, the eastern Seaboard of North America and all of South America. In North America the St. Lawrence River begins in a huge inland sea, which is open ended in the west. The South Atlantic is nearly completely filled with a large pictorial cartouche that appears to depict a large scaffold and a group of European soldiers and priests getting ready to execute a native chief. Minor even age toning and one small piece of the margin is missing, well outside platemark.
