Large double hemisphere world map surrounded by four polar spheres, each in a different projection. Two interesting diagrams depict the earth as it would be seen from space. North America is still blank above California and Hudson Bay is open-ended in the northwest corner. Two very large, decorative (uncolored) cartouches contain the titles, one in Latin and the other French. Light printer's crease near centerfold. Centerfold professionally reinforced. Very clean and sharp, on fine heavy paper.
