A simple compass rose points the way from the German Ocean and Amsterdam through the United Provinces and Munster in Westphalia north to Hamburg, then south through Hannover in Lower Saxony as far as Landgrave and Hesse. Churches are indicated in most cities and towns named, along with rivers and roads. Miles given in German and English measure. Ref: Jolly GENT - 105. Wonderful detail & dark impression. Narrow margin at top and trimmed to neatline at right.
