Fabulous example of George Houfnagle's beautiful engraving style providing and an excellent glimpse of medieval life. The village is nestled among cultivated fields with the Uma River in the foreground. A large castle is built on a island in the river. Lovely original color. Mat burn and discoloration in margin, not affecting engraving.
