The September edition published this map showing the Duke's visit to Italy, included many of the major cities. . Landing November 29, 1763 at Genoa, he proceeded south through Florence, Rome and Naples, returning north through many small towns along the Gulf of Venice. The entire region is labeled "Land of the Church". Simple cartouche and compass rose in the Gulf of Genoa. Ref: Jolly GENT - 175. Dark impression with crisp lines.
