Great portrait of this Shawnee warrior, brother of Tecumseh. Fine hand-colored lithograph by the famous firm of J.T. Bowen from the first octavo edition. McKinney's work documents an important part of American history, the great leaders of the Indian nations, and is the sole existing record of these great Americans. Mat burn in margins, else very good with lovely color.
