Fine small book with English 404 p. text and 12 folding maps, hand colored in outline. Maps include a double folding "Chart of the World" on Mercator's projection; "States of America" showing 15 states and the territories up to the Mississippi River; and several other nice regional maps of Europe and Asia. Soft leather covers with gilt title and paper edges and marble paper end sheets. New leather on spine, binding tight and contents fine. Covers with minor shelf wear and rubbing.
