Large and comprehensive gazetteer including a physical, political and statistical account of the world. Chapters on each state, and early western territories, including the Republic of Texas. 1008 pp illustrated with 1000 engravings. Original leather binding with gilt embossed spine, and marble paper endpapers. Some damp stain and light foxing to contents. Binding rubbed and just starting to loosen.
