Ninth edition of this early American travel guide covering both the U.S. and Canada. Describes the modes of travel, points of interest and leading hotels. 467pp + 51pp of advertisements, with 13 folding maps, three hand colored. Cloth covered boards with gilt title. Covers rubbed and bumped with spine sunned and cracked. Contents good with some cello tape repairs to separations on maps. Tape does not appear to have been on for very long, as there is no adhesive staining, so repairs will be fairly easy.
