Extremely well detailed map of the far north from Bankes Strait through Baffin Bay. Inset "Continuation of Smith's Sound to the Northward on a reduced scale". Notes the location where the "Resolute" was abandoned in 1854, and other notations concerning arctic explorations. Small tear entering top neatline with old paper repair, else fine.
