One of only two Caribbean maps in this important work, which was one of the first atlases to provide detailed maps on the individual regions of the New World. The map is a finely engraved delineation of Cuba, Jamaica, the Cayman Islands and a bit of Hispaniola. Embellished with a large strapwork title cartouche and a fully engraved sea. Small part of missing paper at top centerfold has been replaced with facsimile of neatlines and some of the hachured waves, all very neatly done and barely noticeable.
