John Ogilby pioneered a series of pictorial road maps of England. This fascinating map details the entire road from London to the sea at Rye Bay with details along the route. Includes a city plan of London and a large title cartouche flanked with the figures and the royal coat of arms. Attractive color, probably later, with a bit of bleed through on verso.
