Striking map of the island nation in a fully engraved sea. Below the main map are insets of the major Mediterranean islands: Lemnos, Chios, Lesbos, Euboea, Cythere and Rhodes. Embellished with large strapwork title and scale of miles cartouches, a sailing ship and a large sea monster. Full original color, slightly toned and faded, but still very lovely. Damp stain and a couple of tiny tears in margins. The map itself is a great impression.
